By accessing this website you agree to these terms and conditions (the “Terms”) which together with our privacy policy govern Aku mode’s relationship with you in relation to this website.If you do not agree to them you may not use this website and should leave immediately.
Akumode.com is an online service of Aku Mode (“Aku Mode” / “We”/ “Our” / “Us”) provided solely for your personal use for the sale of clothing, accessories and other Items (“Items”).
References to “We”, “Us” or “our” throughout www.AkuMode.com (“The Website”) website are governed by these terms and conditions (“Conditions”). The term “You” refers to the user or viewer of our website. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you.

We have taken great care to ensure that the Items on our website are presented as accurately as possible. However colour clarity will depend upon your own personal monitor and we therefore cannot guarantee that the colour of the actual Item is absolutely accurate. Before placing an order please read through these Terms.
To be eligible to purchase Items on this Website you must:
  1. be the holder of a valid debit / credit card
  2. warrant that the personal information which you are required to proved when you register as a customer is true, accurate and current in all respects

Making a Purchase:
When you order an Item from akumode.com you are offering to buy it for the price stated and in the way described, subject to these Terms.
Please make payments to HSBC account number 11793039 sort code 40-07-07 under the name Irene Adjei or Aku Mode. Payments are accepted using a valid debit card only. Cash payment will be accepted in person. Payment may also be made via pay pal account.
Your card company may undertake an additional security check to confirm it is you making the order.
All debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses, or subsequently refuses to, or does not, for any reason, authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Once you have placed the order, we will send you an email acknowledging the exact details of your order, providing you with a payment reference and the value of your order that will be debited from your debit card. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Aku Mode.
Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order in accordance with the Returns policy, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when you receive an email from us notifying you that we have dispatched the Items ordered by you.
Our acceptance of your order will be deemed complete and received by you at the time and date of sending of the email, which time and date is specified on the email. The deemed time and date of receipt by you shall apply regardless of whether, for reasons outside our control; you have not received that email.

We may not accept your order if (i) an item you have ordered is out of stock, (ii) we are unable to obtain authorization for your payment or (iii) if we identify a product or pricing error. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time and at our sole discretion.

We will try to keep our Website as up to date as reasonably possible but cannot guarantee that any particular Item will always be available. If we cannot supply any Item we will release the funds being held in your account for the purchase.
Prices:
All prices are in UK pounds sterling. Payment In euros or dollars will be converted at the current exchange rate by your credit card company. You are advised to check the exchange rate before purchasing to give an approximating cost of goods.
Please note that we reserve the right to change price at anytime. The price you pay is the price displayed in this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exception.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur and despite our best efforts, a small number of products on our website may be mis-placed at any time. If this should happen, we will contact you if you have placed an order.
Delvery:
All goods are sold subject to availability. No guarantee or warrantee as to the rate or the time of dispatch is to be given or implied.
All dates and time given are intended as best estimated only.
Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to ensure the correct merchandise is delivered. You must indicate on the delivery note any discrepancies when signing for the delivery. We ask you to contact us within 24hours of accepting delivery, if you are unsatisfied with your order.
Passing off Property and risk:
We will retain the legal ownership of the Item until full payment has been made but you and such payment has been received by us. Legal ownership of the Item will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you. Risk in the Item will pass to you on delivery to you.
Returns:
Customer satisfaction is always our top priority, and as such we handle each query on an individual basis to the best of our ability. While we hope that you are delighted with your order, if you are not perfectly satisfied with your goods we will happily offer you a full refund or exchange.
Please return the ‘unworn’ item in the original packaging with the labels still attached within 7 days. Failures to do so will prevent us from processing any refunds.
We do not accept a return that have already been worn or is returned in a soiled condition.
We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Please use registered post and retain proof of posting.
All goods must be return in their original condition and packaging. Please take care when unpacking and repackaging.
All sales are final. We only accept returns due to damaged goods.
We will not make refund to a third party
Note the value of refund will exclude shipping cost.
As soon as we receive your returned goods we will process your request.
Replacement goods held in stock will be dispatched within 7 working days. If your chosen substitute is not in stock we will contact you to offer either an alternative or a refund.
All successfully returned items will only be credited to the account used to originally purchase the item, less any taxes, import duties or shipping charges incurred. With exchanges, your new item(s) will be shipped to you as soon as we receive your returning package and any additional payment which is required.
PLEASE NOTE: New and unused means that there are no marks on the item or any wear on the tags. We do not sell used and will not accept any item with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser.

Right to Cancel :
You can cancel any services you order via the Website within 7 days of your order being accepted being accepted.
We will not accept cancellation on goods where the order were clearly personalised to your requirements, by their nature cannot be returned or are otherwise goods for which no right of cancellation exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
You should send any notice of cancellation of an order to info@akumode.com. Please give full details of the order, including any order number we have given you
Claims:
Claims for non delivery must be notified in writing within 10days of the invoice date.
In the event of a claim in matter of error, omission or breakage, please do not hesitate to contact us within 14 days of delivery.
This should enable the query to be resolved before the payment due date. If the query is raised after 14 days then full payment of the invoice must be remitted, in accordance with our payment terms. We also reserve the right not to accept claims made after the expiry 14 days.
Contract Information:
Your submission of an order represents an offer to purchase the goods indicated by you and it is not binding on us until an order is accepted. All advertisement and communication are made by us until your order is accepted by us are invitations to treat only and are not offers.This means that if goods are shown on the site but are not available or are incorrectly priced or otherwise incorrectly described, Aku Mode shall not be obliged to sell you the goods.
